We believe in therapy that suits your preferences and circumstances. You can choose to see someone either face-to-face at our Doncaster East location or through Telehealth services. We strive to cater to your individual needs and make your counselling experience as comfortable as possible.

Additionally, our Doncaster East location has General Practitioners onsite. If you require a Mental Health Care Plan, simply inform our friendly reception staff, and they will be happy to arrange one for you on the same day as your initial appointment.

Counselling is a confidential and professional service that assists individuals, couples, or families in becoming more self-aware and emotionally healthy. Through counselling, you will gain a greater understanding of yourself and your behaviors, ultimately leading to a more positive and fulfilled life.

Our psychologists are highly educated professionals, with a minimum of four years of university education. They then undergo either two years of further education or two years of supervision from a registered psychologist. Those who hold specialist titles, such as Clinical Psychologist or Counselling Psychologist, have completed a minimum of six years of university education.

Psychologists are trained in a range of different psychological therapies, and you play an important role in your own counselling sessions by working with the psychologist to understand your feelings, thoughts, and actions. While psychologists do not prescribe medication, they may collaborate with other medical practitioners, such as GPs, who may prescribe medication as part of an overall treatment plan.

Please note that our counselling services are not bulk billed. You can expect out-of-pocket expenses ranging from $60.00 to $120.00 per visit.
