About the Business
Welcome to the Hume Global Learning Centre – Craigieburn, located at Central Park Avenue, 75-95 in Craigieburn, Australia. Our institution is a prominent establishment and a point of interest in the area.
At the Hume Global Learning Centre – Craigieburn, we strive to provide a diverse range of educational and cultural experiences for the community. Our facilities offer a welcoming and inclusive environment for people of all ages and backgrounds to come together to learn, connect, and grow.
In addition to our regular programs and services, we also aim to keep our community informed about important updates and events happening in the area. For instance, the Bolinda Road Resource Recovery Centre in Campbellfield will be closed on Sunday 3 September due to Jemena maintenance work, while the Sunbury Resource Recovery Centre will remain open.
We are proud to share that Hume City Council has chosen to withdraw its application in the recent hearing at the Court of Appeal of the Supreme Court of Victoria, showcasing our commitment to responsible decision-making and transparency.
We also take the time to recognize and celebrate the contributions and service of individuals who have made a significant impact in our community. Currently, we are honoring Howard Mitchell, who has been employed with the council for an impressive 50 years.
Furthermore, we are actively seeking community feedback and involvement in various improvement projects, such as the Turnberry Drive Reserve in Sunbury and the Strathconnon Square Reserve in Tullamarine. Your input on the playspace concept designs will help shape the future of these spaces.
In line with our dedication to inclusivity, we are also seeking input on the proposed name of Rhyolite Drive Reserve, ensuring that visitors and newcomers can easily identify its location.
At the Hume Global Learning Centre – Craigieburn, we not only value education and community engagement but also appreciate the beauty and richness of Australian art and culture. Currently, we have a captivating exhibition featuring intricate drawings of Australian birds, showcasing the talent and skill of our local artists.
We also offer a range of workshops and sessions to enhance skills and knowledge. FReeZA's HYPE crew is organizing a suite of workshops this year, providing an opportunity for individuals to try out new activities and upgrade their skills. Additionally, we have sessions on small space garden design with renowned food production specialist, Kat Lavers, and informative sessions on infant sleep for parents of babies aged 0-4 months.
Lastly, as an institution, we recognize and pay respect to the rich Aboriginal heritage within our municipality. We acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung, including the existing family members of the Gunung-Willam-Balluk clan, as the Traditional Custodians of this land. We embrace and celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures as an integral part of Australia's identity and honor the wisdom and guidance of Elders past, present, and future.
Come and join us at the Hume Global Learning Centre – Craigieburn for a diverse range of educational, cultural, and community experiences.

Reviews
"Great open plan space for all ages with children's and business areas"
"Went here for the occasional care. My son has been going since he was a few months old. Went to sign up my 2 year old son but was informed that under 3 will only have 1 day a week availability at this time this year due to staff shortage which is disappointing because it is a very good service to use."
"Good selection of books, DVDs, graphic novels, kids stuff etc. Loads of free activities. Can print from your phone with is handy."
"Love the staff and the environment, but definitely needs to have air-conditioning because it's always at least 26 degrees inside and almost no airflow or ventilation which doesn't make you want to stay on warmer days."
"This is an excellent library to study at with friendly staff, lots of resources, programs and activities. The only downsides are that the study area is adjacent to the kids section so it can be hard to concentrate at times, but there are also silent study rooms available. I also wish the cafe never closed down. Opening at 9AM would also be great."
