"Don’t like posting 1 stars but I don’t recommend this place at all. We ordered the ‘pork and fennel Italian sausage gnocchi’ and the ‘Wild Mushroom and Truffle Sauce gnocchi’. The pork and fennel gnocchi did not come as advertised on their menu and lacked any sausage whatsoever. When we asked about this by calling the store my husband was spoken to extremely rudely by one of the staff members who said that the pork and fennel sausage no longer comes with the dish and if we didn’t like it then too bad to deal with Uber for a refund. The staff member was completely unwilling to come to any kind of resolution. Portion sizes were also incredibly small, it seems from reading other reviews that this place has upped their prices and lessened the portion sizes as well. I completely understand the need to raise prices in the current climate but don’t skimp on portion sizes. After spending over $60 on dinner for two adults and one child we are now having to arrange more food for dinner after already having an exhausting day. I would rather pay a bit more to get a decent serving size and actually get what the menu states! I absolutely don’t recommend this place, there are better places to spend your hard earned money."
"I’ve ordered gnocchi bolognese 3 times this week for dinner. The sauce is rich and sweet, goes perfect with buttered bread! It’d be great if they offered a larger size for each gnocchi - it’s so good!"
"First time trying restaurant Gnocchi and it's a pretty OK experience. Ordered lobster + Barraumdi and mushroom truffle. The mushroom dish was great. It was creamy and loved the mushrooms in there. The gnocchi was soft like pillow. The lobster dish was disappointing. No lobster meat, just bits of Barra. The sauce did taste of lobster, so I'm guessing it's lobster stock. Gnocchi was soft. Bought 2 slices of bread to mop up the sauce. However, I don't think would go back because portions way too small for the price. Quality is ok. The hospitality team was attentive and did their best to look after us. Not recommended for folks with a good appetite. I did have a mild flavour fatigue after the meal. So strange to feel with us a small portion. Follow me on instagram @punk_gardener as I seek out local food treasure."
"Usually love Gnocchi Gnocchi Brothers (though admittedly, I usually order from the Southbank Store.) But today's sauce just seemed so... Thin? And flavourless. Not too fussed about the container change from the usual round-branded ones, but if you're going to cut costs, don't cut costs with the sauce!!"
"Loved their wine, only to be outdone by their moreish bites of gnocchi. You can't beat the OG traditional bolognese! While you're there, give their truffle fries a go - such a good appetiser before you tuck into your gnocchi!"
