Reviews
"Fish is very fresh. Atmosphere is also good, very cosy and conducive to having a nice meal. Some people even sit here all afternoon, either using free WiFi, or chatting and laughing loudly, as if the restaurant is their lounge room! Only 'complaint' is: not sure how skilled the chefs are (are they properly trained Japanese sushi chefs?) - they cut sashimi into very thick pieces making it a bit too chewy."
"Loved this place! This is my favorite go to place. Food is amazing, the ambience is lovely and great customer service. They have cute robot to deliver your food too."
"They have lifted their game recently. The prices, quality and service, they match up. The waiters, Dan and another one (he maybe a supervisor or a manager?), they recognise you if you return. A great feeling!!! Check out my videos, great sake selection. Sushi for me is fantastic against $! Taste, size and flavour will make you forget how much you are paying for. I ordered a vego noodle soup without noodles. They gave me extra veges and tofu. 4 stars for food because of some tapas+dim sim food. Many of them are pre-made frozen food. Over all, I'm still hungry for more."
"Ginga is my regular place for good Japanese food. I love that the menu is mainly just plain, traditional Japanese food - no fusion. It's always fresh. The sushi is generous. There's a wide range of dishes - curry, noodles, dumplings, vegetarian options, and the rest. I never have to wait for long and the staff are friendly and efficient. There is a good choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Parking is easy, and it's suitable for families with children."
"Loved the authentic Japanese atmosphere of this place and special appreciation for the robot waitress! A true Japanese sushi place with modern styling and decor. Staff were welcoming! The only thing that let this place down was the food. The fish was fresh and delightful but the rice was very dry. I tried an array of different dishes to see if it improved but it remained relatively tasteless. A little disappointing because prices were exceptionally high for sushi. I loved the atmosphere, it was quite private in your booth - a perfect place for a date or catchup. Would come back!"
