"Had time to kill as car getting serviced so decided to go early and have a long breakfast. This cafe is one of the rare places along the Melton main shopping strip where you can go for breaky. Got there before main morning rush and noted the number of workers behind the counter as indicative of how busy the place gets, and the good good is the evidence why. Order at counter with cheerful, engaging happy staff. Took a seat and was delivered excellent coffee. Cooked breakfast dish delivered after appropriate time. It was delicious...!. Can thoroughly recommend this cafe. Lots of customers by the time I departed as proof of quality of food."

"My mother and I received exemplary service by the staff here on Anzac Day. The alterations made to the Black Rice Salad to allow for dietary requirements were greatly appreciated and made the dish delicious. The food was brought out quickly and serving sizes were ample The Lolly Heaven was also absolutely insane (in a good way). Thank you for the lovely lunch!"

"Visited here on the 30th of October for my brother’s birthday lunch. I recommended this place due to the huge variety of menu and based on my previous visits. Venue: Clean and airy. Spacious with lots of light. Two entrances. Sweet and savory counters with huge options. Beautifully presented and kept squeaky clean. Outdoor seating available too. Service: Made a prior reservation for 8 & was definitely kept ready. Friendly phone etiquette. Definitely a plus. Went through the menu, ordered & paid at the counter. Everything was smooth sailing. The service time was good as well. Food quality: For the first time in my 5th visit to the venue, I wasn’t very happy about the food. Plating was good but lacked flavors. - Barramundi: had water under the fish. Was bland, but the rest of the dish was good. - Pork salad: Again, the salad was good, but the pork seemed overcooked & was rubbery to eat. - Nasi Goreng: Was bland. Lacked flavour. - Mac n Cheese: Kid was disappointed as she expected Mac n cheese, but it was more like Mac & Cheese nuggets. They were tasty but not what she wanted. She didn’t read that it was bites & not just the Mac n Cheese. The Cajun chicken salad, Pop corn Chicken, Sweet Potato Fries, Coffees were really good. Portions are really generous too. I would’ve spoken to the manager on the food, but we were pressed for time & the restaurant got busy so didn’t want to have a discussion. I’m sure by the looks of it they would happily hear us out and do something. To be honest, in my previous visits here, they have always been amazing on every point so this one time, I am willing to forego. I definitely will visit this place again as they have been good all the time. Next time, I would mention if anything was amiss."

"We brunch here today. Service was great - staff are very friendly and attentive. Wait for the drinks and food were minimal. Serving sizes are good and food was tasty! Could push to 5/5 if we sample all of the menu. We definitely come back! If you are in the area, strongly recommend visiting The Jolly Miller Cafe."

"Nice coffee and friendly staff. The food is not as good as my expectation though. The chicken is a bit too dry. The mussels are the frozen ones, not fresh ones; the pasta is a bit over cooked. But I like their salad dressing. I love the wall plants, however the wall colour is a bit cold."
