"I saw Dr Chis Jalilian a few years ago about my eczema. It remains to this day the worst treatment I have ever received by any medical professional. My eczema at the time was relatively new and steadily getting worse. I had a suspected infection which Chris ran tests on, assuring me I'd have the result soon. After letting the infection worsen for a few days I anxiously phoned reception, who told me that they had left a note and that the doctor would get back to me soon. After phoning a few more times over subsequent days I gave up waiting to be called back and saw a GP - who recognized the infection and prescribed me a medication that cleared the condition immediately. At my next appointment with Chris he berated me for pestering reception. Despite my other doctor's diagnosis and successful treatment he denied that there was ever an infection (apparently his tests came back negative) and condescendingly suggested I see a psychologist about my mental health. Never before have I been treated so appallingly by a medical professional. I am sure Chris is well respected in his field but when dealing with patients who are new to skin health problems some reliability, bedside manner and basic decency can go a long way."
