While learning correct dance technique, we also work together to build self-esteem and confidence, which are crucial for these age groups.

Michelle Saunders, the founder of Mini Groovers, is a highly experienced dance professional. With a Diploma of Dance, Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and an Associate Diploma in Jazz, Tap, and Ballet, Michelle has over 25 years of experience in dance, performance, and teaching. As a mother of two, she has a passion for teaching dance, movement, and fitness to children in a fun and nurturing manner.

Mini Groovers offers five different classes, each tailored to specific age groups and designed to progress and build upon each other. Children can move through the levels as they get older, improving their dance skills while maintaining their enthusiasm and love for dance.

We have two convenient locations for our classes. St. John's Anglican Church in Bentleigh provides a wonderful studio with a real community feel, where parents are welcome to stay and watch their children enjoy their dance classes. We also offer classes at Highett Youth Club, which boasts a beautiful studio and a fantastic communal area for parents to socialize with other parents and siblings.
