Reviews of Alkira Secondary College
"The Chronicles of Alkira chapter 1: I have compiled a list of short stories, of my experiences at this joyous cesspool. My first year at Alkira wasn't anything out of the ordinary. being the bottom-feeding year seven I was I stayed out of the way of others, while also messing around with my friends in the confines of the p portables. Life in the portables were moderately peaceful, if moderately peaceful meant being under constant threat of fruit barrages, not to mention the occasional rabid student gone feral around session 3 and 4. Lunch times and Snack times were taken part in with a deathly atmosphere. A fearful watchout for older kids entering the domain, or worse a fruit barrage. For all you normies and kids who came to Alkira after 'The Great Cleansing' you might not know what a fruit barrage is, let alone have seen a flying piece of fruit with your very own eyes. well I can tell you it's a beautiful sight, an experience that words truly cannot express. The glory of an apple, or orange flying through the air, seemingly have appeared out of nowhere. the frantic shuffling and pushing of students to get out of the imminent impact zone. The futility of these efforts as pulp and skin flew everywhere. It truly was a sight to see. Fruits sent down by the gods, striking the holy ground, only to vanish out of existence, leaving only a wet mark on the pavement near the faux grass. Fruit throwing incidents slowed down as the year progressed though. Vanishing just as the fruits themselves did after impact. Nowadays I still see half eaten fruit being kicked around maybe even flung, but I doubt I'll ever see the glory of a whole fruit smashing into the ground and spraying unsuspecting students with juice."
"Amazing school. I transferred back there from another school and rlly good. Every where I went at my last school you would see people making out and inappropriate behaviour. The teachers care about your work, wellbeing is there for you."
"My son used to go to this school and had said every corner he went past he would always see a fight or a large group surrounding people, Teachers need to stand up and stop worrying about loosing their job and help out others. Other then that i wouldn't really recommend the school to parents wanting a safe learning environment because you will probably not find it here, The students haven't learnt manners or anything kind to say."
"I’m only giving an extra star because I don’t know about the teachers themselves, but my car broke down today, on my walk home to get petrol, these ‘Alkira’ kids were on their way home from school. I did the right thing and stayed to the left of the footpath, but that didn’t matter. I was nearly ridden into by two students on their bikes with no helmets of course. No sorry, no pardon, just a dirty look because I was on their way. Then I had another female student purposely walk into my pathway and rammed into me with her shoulder. I had no where else to go and she just laughed. That shoulder has no flesh, muscle or anything covering my vital organs. Not that she knew that but what if she caused damage, real damage? I had kids walking in huge groups that would not move to let me pass, and when I said ‘excuse me, thank you’ they just swore at me and laughed. So I have no idea what those teachers are teaching at that school, but it’s not manners, respect for elders, honor, loyalty or anything that matters. If I were you thinking about where to send your children in high school, this would be the last place I would go. Their students have made quite the impression on the schools image, and it’s not a good one. Try some discipline, it might work."
"This was my first ever visit to the school. It is tricky getting in and out of the region due to traffic congestion. The school is huge with about1900 students enrolled. The facilities are new and rooms are well fitted out. Most of the students were respectful. I had to travel over 45 minutes to get there, so I prefer working closer to home. For anyone living closer, I recommend it as a place of work. They are in need of teachers at the moment, so I suggest you make application."
