Jackomos Hall is named in honor and recognition of Mrs. Merle Jackomos OAM, who has made significant contributions to the Aboriginal community. Mrs. Jackomos, who has tribal connections with the Yorta Yorta Nation, has been an advocate for Aboriginal welfare and has worked tirelessly to establish numerous services for Aboriginal people.
