Forty Winks Frankston

"I feel disappointed to update my review following our bed purchase. While initially the service provided was excellent during our sale we were verbally promised free delivery on a loan bed base followed by paid delivery of our purchased bed. We were told our bed wouldn't be ready until around December. It was a fairly large sale, bed, mattress and mattress protector but during signing of our sale we didn't notice we were going to be billed for both loan base and bed delivery, not as promised. The loan base was delivered and I was charged $80 delivery and while I should of said something I thought 'oh well maybe the bed delivery will be covered', the bed was delivered today and they asked me to pay another $80 delivery, I voiced my concerns and the delivery people rang 40 winks, I spoke with Jeremy who explained that while they sometimes do promise this type of delivery we had signed a contract of sale at the time indicating 2 delivery payments. I find this extremely disappointing and frankly terrible customer service, especially when it was acknowledged this was likely a verbal agreement during our sale! If you buy from 40 winks Frankston check your sale docket and make sure the terms are as discussed!"

"I have never left a google review before, but I felt that I needed too. My daughter and I visited the store looking for new mattresses for us both. We were greeted by Misty who was absolutely lovely. After quite some time, we selected our mattresses and protectors and also a pillow for my daughter. I spoke to Misty a couple of days later expressing my budget concern and advised that I would like to change my order. I went back into the store and yet again Misty was amazing and helped me by offering a discount to ensure I was able to get the mattress I initially selected. The mattresses were delivered and all was well - until I slept on mine for a couple of weeks and realised I had made a mistake with my selection. I called Misty back and sure enough she organised a softer feel of mattress for me as a replacement. It has just been delivered today and I'm very excited to sleep on it tonight. I honestly feel that Misty was truly amazing and nothing was too much trouble for her. The initial service and sale, the almost cancellation and then the replacement - and through it all, Misty was friendly, courteous, polite and just wonderful. Thank you so much for making this daunting task, way less stressful than it could have been :) I would 100% recommend this store and especially Misty."
