"honestly the wait times to get ANYTHING from Nick Scali are not worth it - you'll be waiting three months to get what you buy. It's simply pathetic product production and delivery. .......... In reply to the message below - Why bother - have a look at the litany of terribly experiences by your customers. I'd be sacking your CEO for such poor performance over so many years. It's just ridiculous. I've tried calling and your customer service people do NOTHING. oh and PS, charging $90 for delivery and not even taking the packaging away is daylight robbery. YOUR BRAND IS PATHETIC."
"Appaling experience dealing with the business. Sales is not at all interested in addressing customer issues but rather pleasing their regional managers. They sent me a damaged product after months of wait and then told me that the item is out of stock even though the items shows in stock on the website. Then they don't clearly mention if it would be delivered or I need to pick up and the pick up times are also not as per customers convenience. Please steer away from this business at all costs."
"We’ve had an exceptionally disappointing experience from Nick Scali, a furniture company we thought was reputable. I felt it was important to warn potential customers of the realistic time frames they would likely be waiting for. We were sold a couch with an expected 13-15 week lead time, with an additional 3 week buffer contracted. After almost 26 weeks the sofa has finally arrived. We were able to track the order, until just after it was manufactured then tracking was turned off and we’d receive the odd call to say it was delayed another month repeatedly. Not once were they actually able to give us an expected delivery date. Meanwhile their sales teams are still quoting new orders at 12-16 lead time. After all of this I suggested the least they could do is waive delivery for the hassle. They flat out refused. Instead, gifting us the fabric care package which we’d already been up sold on. It wasn’t until I spoke with Consumer Affairs to understand my rights, did I push back. Their delivery time was unacceptable. After a lot of back and forth they finally agreed to refund $100 to cover the delivery ($95). But we would have to pay an extra $65 for the box and packaging to be taken away. We were told it would be broken down neatly put aside. It wasn’t. It was just left out in the backyard. These companies are all too happy to take your money and take zero accountability. Claiming “oh well there’s nothing we can do”. That simply is not good enough. In a day and age where customer service is paramount, I’m not sure Nick Scali is aware of what it takes to compete with companies setting the benchmarks. *Edit: We've just gone to open the sofa bed and it doesn't open! The bars are bent on one side! I'm gobsmacked, this has to be the most atrocious experience I've ever had. Oh and funnily enough the link they sent me to review them didn't work...."
"I paid thousands of dollars for a dining table, and paid $170 for the table to be delivered within 10km radius of the shop and assembled at my home. I wasn’t informed that the waste will be thrown and left at our house. We experienced a 4 week’s delay as a result of a delay in our table being ported in from China to Melbourne. They then smack me again with this unexpected huge rubbish."
"It was a Tiffany’s Experience! Carlo! We purchased the Luigi lounge in the month of November and we were assisted by Carl from Richmond. He was very professional, knowledgeable and respectful throughout the process. We received our lounge, (which looks beautiful!) and between this, Carlo kept us updated with its shipment and arrival. It was a great end to end experience! I will highly recommend to see Carlo in Richmond to those who look forward to buying a Scali Lounge!"
