Grantville Lodge
About the Business
Welcome to Grantville Lodge, located at Grantville, Grantville-Glen Alvie Road, 200. As an establishment and point of interest, we are thrilled to introduce our newest addition, the Grantville Lodge New Chapel Garden. This stunning space has been carefully designed by our dedicated team of volunteers, the Grantville Lodge’s Local Campsite Committee (LCC), to provide our guests with a low maintenance, native garden to enjoy.
Our onsite Chapel is a cherished feature at Grantville Lodge, regularly visited by a diverse range of groups. This beautiful building was relocated from the town of Yallock near Bayles, when Grantville Lodge was still known as “Shiloh Ranch”. In its previous life, the chapel served as a school, town hall, and church for the Yallock community. Today, it still boasts the original pews adorned with plaques dedicated to families from Yallock dating back to the 1960s, serving as a reminder of a town that sadly no longer exists.
After finalizing the garden design, we organized a working bee on September 16th, 2017. Our dedicated staff and volunteers came together and were fortunate to experience Victoria’s kind weather, with a touch of rain accompanied by bursts of sunshine. Thanks to the generous donation of suitable native plants from the ‘Presbytery Open Day’ in 2016, and a kind contribution of $500 from the Korumburra Op Shop, we were able to purchase seating and a bird bath to enhance the garden. We are incredibly grateful for this generosity, which has allowed us to create a beautiful space to share with others.
At Grantville Lodge, we strive to provide an exceptional experience for our guests. Whether you are here to explore the natural beauty of Australia, attend a retreat, or simply relax and unwind, our newly completed Grantville Lodge New Chapel Garden offers a serene and tranquil environment to enjoy. We invite you to immerse yourself in the beauty of native plants, find solace in the historic chapel, and take a moment to reflect in this picturesque setting. Join us at Grantville Lodge and discover the perfect blend of nature, history, and tranquility.

"The Camp is good for school students, it has 3 to 6 bunk beds in each room ,good hall n dining room."
"Pretty great place, went here for school camp. The activities were quite fun, and the three course dinners were quite appetising. The staff there were very friendly, nice and helpful. The cabins were kinda meh, there were a few that were really nice with mini living rooms and kitchenettes but 8 and 9 were kinda old and rusty. The bathrooms are also quite stenchy especially the main ones. Overall great experience, but some areas could do some work."
"Lovely kitchen staff, great food (plenty of it) and fun activities!"
"Gorgeous area, good food, lovely helpful people, nice cabins, beautiful grounds. Some farm animals to pat, good common areas, clean, a good pool which is child safe also. The bathrooms are a bit scary but not the worst."
"This place is really good (for the price we paid). We booked the whole campsite for our church camp. We had 105 people there and I think it's about just the right size. Some rooms are better than the other but overall all the room are clean. The kitchen is small but not too small. The toilets near the main hall is a little run down but it's ok. There is a small pool as well... but may be too cold for winter. The best part is the view especially during sunset!"
