About the Business
Welcome to Gleneagles Secondary College, located at Endeavour Hills, Reema Boulevard, 58. As an establishment and point of interest, we pride ourselves on being a leading secondary school in Australia.
We are thrilled to announce that our Senior Boys Soccer Team has advanced to the State Final after emerging victorious in both the District and Regional Finals. Comprising Year 11 and 12 students, our team has triumphed over all other schools in the South Eastern Region of Victoria. This remarkable achievement showcases the talent and dedication of our students.
At Gleneagles Secondary College, we have consistently outperformed similar schools in the National Assessment Program Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN). Across all 5 categories at both Year 7 and Year 9, our students have demonstrated exceptional academic prowess.
We would like to extend our congratulations to Molly Griffiths (Yr 11) for her outstanding performance in the u17s Girls Backstroke at the State Swimming Championships. Molly secured the 5th position with a personal best time of 35.29 seconds. We are immensely proud of Molly's achievement. We would also like to acknowledge all the students who competed at the Southern Metropolitan Region Swimming Championships.
Our recent Open Night was a resounding success, with a significant turnout. Attendees had the opportunity to take a college tour and listen to presentations from our Principal, School Captains, Year 7 students, and our Year 7 Engagement Leader. If you were unable to join us for the Open Night, we invite you to register for a Principal's Tour of the college.
We are delighted to commend our class of 2022 for their exceptional results. Our year 12 students have concluded the year with remarkable achievements. Logan Nicholson, our Gleneagles Dux for 2022, achieved an outstanding ATAR of 99.00, setting a record-breaking result for Gleneagles Secondary College.
We would also like to recognize the students who participated in the Young Leaders Global Youth Forum. Thirteen Year 9 students engaged in a week-long forum, connecting with over 1000 students from 100 different schools worldwide. This international platform provided invaluable opportunities for growth and collaboration.
To facilitate a smooth transition to secondary school, we recently hosted a transition day for Year 5 and 6 students from James Cook, Thomas Mitchell, Southern Cross, Mossgiel Park, and Chalcot Lodge Primary Schools. This event aimed to support a positive start to their educational journey.
Gleneagles Secondary College is proud to offer the services of our own Doctor as part of the Victorian Government's DISS Program. This service is completely free and available every Friday from 9am to 1pm. Students or parents can make appointments by emailing wellbeing@gleneagles.vic.edu.au.
We would like to congratulate Jacob Grant for winning silver in high jump at the State Athletics for the 18-20 years age group. Jacob's impressive jump of 1.85cm secured him the medal.
Currently, a group of our Year 8 students is participating in a pilot program with the South East Melbourne Phoenix Basketball Club. This collaboration represents an exciting opportunity to engage with a professional sporting organization.
Let us introduce our College Captains for 2023: Kayla Hancock and Dalia Said. We also have the privilege of having Mia Trupl and Darrius Ooi as our Vice Captains. These student leaders will play a crucial role in guiding our college community.
Looking ahead, we are thrilled to announce that construction of our new Senior Centre will commence in the coming weeks, with completion expected in the second half of 2023. This state-of-the-art facility will be dedicated to our VCE students and staff, enabling us to offer a comprehensive VCE program tailored to the needs of all students.
We are also proud to share the achievements of our former School Captain, Josh Davis. He was recently awarded the prestigious 'Hansen Scholarship' as part of his Bachelor of Arts (Politics / Islamic Studies) degree at the University of Melbourne.
Lastly, we would like to express our gratitude to a group of our students who volunteered their assistance at Thomas Mitchell Primary School's Athletics Carnival. Their support was instrumental in ensuring the success of the event.
At Gleneagles Secondary College, we are committed to providing an exceptional educational experience, fostering excellence in academics, sports, and personal development. Join our vibrant community and unlock your potential.

Reviews
"smells terrible, once i went into a room and it genuinely smelled like pee, the school has a major problem with bullying, to the point where i cant even describe it without going on a rant, its insanely hard to navigate and even though the school monitors your every move kids still manage to vape in the bathroom and stuff"
"Starting off with the teamleaders, Appalling honestly Most teachers are fine But the treatment was not it, Students being treated differently compared to others is shocking, Secondly the punishment given is unfair no need to say more period. Directing my message towards the Teamleaders... Miss Ashton should get a raise."
"Don’t send your kid here unless you’re willing to then pay for the years of therapy they’ll need after. Aside from students, the school is disorganised and laptop tech support is seriously so irresponsible its laughable"
"The school could basically function the same without staff. My friend and I were at the school for merely 3 years and she was bullied. My parents wasted their income on this school. Also, they take so long to sort things out. At the beginning of 9th grade, I didn’t have a locker. I had to carry my heavy bag around for weeks before they finally did something about it. The only Thing this school cares about is looking good. The vast majority of teachers can't teach and are probably recycled after being sacked from other schools. Do not send your kids to a school that will make them feel so miserable to the point of self heavening."
