"My granddaughter has gone from an A to A+ and above since starting this school.. very happy"
"Wow, just Wow. Can't believe that three of the five star review's are from teachers themselves. Look, I moved to the school last year from an all girls boarding school and being my third high school I hoped Belgrave Heights would be a good school. On the tour the school had a very good vibe and felt like a warm and welcoming school but after I moved to the school things started going down hill quickly. It wasn't long before I began to get bullied again. Class time is very hard to concentrate due to noisy students, but the teacher do nothing about it. The teachers have very little understanding or respect for the students and some teachers do not listen to students. Many teachers I have are first year teachers, which is all well and good everyone has to learn, however, doing four VCE subjects this year, you would hope that there would be some type of way to get help when needed. I know my parents think the school is great, but from a students perspective I really don't like it. Probably the worst school I've been to so far. Going to school is a constant struggle, I feel there is little teachers support, it is very hard to learn, and there is very little respect between most teachers and students. Would not recommend as a good school."
"Amazing school. The staff really go the extra mile for the students. The setting of the school in the picturesque Dandenong ranges would have to be one of the most beautiful settings for a school in Australia. Great facilities and an outstanding educational program. I cannot recommend the school highly enough."
"Love the school. Teachers give amazing support. Whoever says there is no support they are lying so hard. In Grade 2 I came to this school with no friends and the chaplains supported me and helped me out with it all. Currently in Year 9 and am still loving everything about this."
"Moved our son out , due to lack of resources, teachers just not there, found that he was going backwards for 2.5 years, no matter how many meetings were had, Results were thin. Sent him to Belgrave South Primary , Instant support hes now on the mend and heading in the right direction again. Our Girls are now finding Limitations in VCE yr 10 electives and very out of touch teachers. Also school does not attend to bullied students. Many families have left for this issue. If you want your kids to slip through the "i don't care cracks", shivering in the Belgrave winter climate as there is no protection from the elements and being bullied, then send them here. There are better choices in the area, do your research compare the schools, compare the results. Don't believe the hype."
