Welcome to Mahogany Rise Primary School, a proud establishment located in the heart of Frankston North, Australia. As the Principal, I am honored to be a part of this institution that has a rich history in the local community.

Education runs in my family, with a long connection to Frankston North. My Grandfather served as the Assistant Principal at this very site in the 1970s when it was known as Monterey Primary School. Even my Grandmother worked briefly at Monterey Secondary College. Both of my parents were teachers at Aldercourt Primary School, and my mother even became the Principal there in the early 2000s. Now, it is my turn to carry on this proud legacy.

Since my arrival in 2019, Mahogany Rise has undergone significant transformations. We have a brand new Junior and Administration building, which is connected to the Mahogany Rise Child and Family Centre. This state-of-the-art facility ensures that our students have the best possible start to their educational journey.

The original school building has also undergone extensive renovations. We now have four new senior learning spaces, as well as reading and maths intervention rooms. Additionally, we have a spacious breakout area and a library for our students to explore. Not to mention, our commercial-grade kitchen provides healthy lunches and snacks every day.

Our grounds have also been revitalized with three new playgrounds, shade sails, and a soon-to-be fabulous grassed area for outdoor activities. Whether it's running or kicking a footy, we encourage our students to stay active and enjoy their time at Mahogany Rise.

At our school, we have clear expectations for our students: Be a Learner, Be Respectful, Be Safe. These principles serve as the foundation of our teaching and learning. You will see these values proudly displayed in our front entrance, along with our House Teams: Forster Fireballs, Lacenet Lightning, Monterey Mustangs, and Jenkens Giants. These teams support our extensive well-being programs, ensuring the holistic development of our students.

One of the greatest strengths of Mahogany Rise is our dedicated team of teachers and co-educators. Being a small school allows us to build strong relationships with every child and family, ensuring the best educational and well-being outcomes for all students.
