Welcome to Ivanhoe Grammar School Buckley House! Located in Ivanhoe, Australia, our Primary Years campus caters to three and four-year-old students in the Early Learning Centre through to Year 6.

At Buckley House, we offer a co-educational program that is founded on inquiry-based learning, combining academic pursuits with co-curricular challenges. Our main focus is to give our students a strong foundation, setting them up for their further education and life.

The primary years of enrolment into Buckley House are for three-year-old and four-year-old Early Learning students. However, places in all other primary levels are offered as they become available. For entry into the Early Learning Centre 3-year-old program, children must have turned three prior to the commencement of the school year.

Our campus boasts contemporary facilities nestled in leafy surrounds. Students have access to an adventure playground, innovation centre, dedicated library, and sporting facilities. We believe in combining rigorous academic endeavor with co-curricular challenges to provide our students with a well-rounded education. Our curriculum focuses on literacy and numeracy, ensuring our students have a strong foundation for their future.

Leadership is fostered at Buckley House, and our Primary Years students take part in leadership activities to build confidence, self-esteem, and character. We also encourage our students to give back to their local community through service projects, fundraising, and visits to local care homes.

We take immense pride in the achievements of our students. Athelstane House emerged victorious at the Buckley House carnival, and 14 Year 5 students showcased their incredible talents at the FUSE Cup in Melbourne. Our Girls' Soccer Team was crowned champions at the recent Ivanhoe District Soccer Championships.

Our teachers are amazed by the creativity and capabilities of our students. They constantly inspire us with their unique perspectives and innovative thinking.
