"Girl on self service checkout was the most disinterested and borderline rude staff member I have ever seen in Big W. Obviously Big W are no longer employing staff with people skills. Cery ordinary staff at this Woolies. You need to pay staff more and teach them ."
"Went here on a Friday to just check out what's available. Saw some kitchen containers on sale and there were plenty of them. Unfortunately, they were not the sizes I needed. Saw there was a sale on chocolates, and they seemed to be good priced and had a lot. Headed to the toiletries and saw the yellow tags for marked downs and discounts -- it was cheaper in Chemist Warehouse. The setup of the middle aisle was too busy and messy. It didn't enticed me to buy anything. Maybe I came at the wrong day."
"I’ve never felt so uncomfortable going to a store. I go here on a weekly basis to get nappies for my two babies and every time I go to self serve, the same middle aged brunette lady stares at me and hovers near my register. In the past I’ve walked out of self serve and I’ve had another customer say to me that I was being stared down as if I had stolen something in my pram. Today I was going through self serve checkout and she was there staring at me. She asked me for receipts of everything I had purchased as I had a full pram of stuff after going to coles and Kmart. She did all of this infront of other customers, questioning me so loud. I’ve never been so humiliated in my life. Whilst she’s making me take things out of my pram and show her receipts, my two year old picks up a small over priced hot wheels packet with a toy car and opens it. She made me pay for the item that I wasn’t going to purchase. This isn’t the first time she has done this to me which I have then had to pay for extra items my toddler has opened while I’m being questioned. I would understand if I had an older child that would understand that you can’t do that, but he’s a two year old that doesn’t understand that it’s wrong. This is my local store and I just feel so uncomfortable going here because of this one person, let alone having to pay for unnecessary items my child has pick up in the process of being harassed by her."
"I visited this store recently and were assisted by Rosina and Jackie whilst looking for a particular item. I was super impressed with their level of customer service at assisting me. Rosina even though run off her feet with the amount of people at the front of the store had plenty of time to assist me with a friendly attitude, and tried to contact another staff member Jackie to help as she could not leave her position. Jackie also came back to me a second time after looking for the product to let me know that the particular product would be available on line in a few days time. Jackie did not have to do this, but this shows great customer service, even though the store was very busy at the time. Both these ladies are a credit to Big W Epping store and I hope their level of service is recognised, a great store :)"
"It is very big as most of the other Big W super stores. They had a small dress stall right outside the shop around April 2023, which felt a bit different from usual. They have huge collection of dresses and toys. I am not sure whether they have a service to assemble bikes if we purchase them there, as it was not very clearly mentioned there. They have wide variety of bike cycle gears for big kids and grown ups, but very less collection of bikes for those age group."
