One of the highlights of our school year is the annual school camp. Recently, our Middle School Students had an unforgettable adventure at Phillip Island. They had the chance to feed pelicans, explore the stunning Nobbies, experience the thrill of the Giant Swing, conquer the pinnacle, fly down the flying fox, and visit Amaze 'n' Things. It was truly a fantastic experience that created lasting memories for our students.

We also believe in providing our students with a well-rounded education, which includes sports and cultural activities. Recently, we had Football Clinics come to BHPS, where our Prep and Junior School students focused on AFL, while our Middle and Senior School students learned all about Rugby. These clinics not only promote physical fitness but also teach important values such as teamwork and sportsmanship.

Celebrating the joy of learning is an essential part of our school culture. Our Preps recently had their Letterland Day, where they immersed themselves in the world of letters, sounds, and words. It was a fun and interactive day that fostered a love for reading and language in our youngest learners.

We also believe in exposing our students to important social matters and cultural diversity. Recently, we had a visit from Scott Darlow, a passionate Indigenous activist and Yorta Yorta descendant. Scott shared his indigenous culture, Australian history, and spoke about racial tolerance and harmony. Such experiences broaden our students' horizons and promote understanding and acceptance.

Leadership is another important aspect of our school community. Our 2023 Student Leaders and Monitors received their leadership badges and were introduced to the school community at our latest assembly. We believe in nurturing leadership skills in our students and empowering them to make a positive impact.
