Welcome to Malvern Memorial Kindergarten, a gathering space for ideas, nurturing, inquiry, play, and learning. Located in Armadale, Orchard Street, our community kindergarten holds a special place in the hearts of so many for all it gives our children.

True to the origins of the word, our kindergarten is a 'children's garden', a place of care and respect. At the heart of it all are the people - teachers, parents, and children. We come together under one roof, supporting and helping one another in ways big and small. It truly takes a village to raise a child, and our village raises many.

Joining our community means becoming a part of an ongoing project. We have expectations, starting with volunteering. We encourage all parents - mums and dads - to spend at least one day each term with the children or assist the staff in other ways. It's a day when our children get to teach us something, reminding us of the pure wonder of being a child.

Malvern Memorial Kindergarten (MMK) is a community kindergarten that offers high-quality early childhood education and care to local families residing in the City of Stonnington. We have two kindergarten programs available: a four-year-old program that runs three full days per week, and a three-year-old program that runs two full days per week from Terms two to four.

Both programs are led by experienced, dedicated, and fully qualified Early Childhood Teachers. We maintain above-ratio class sizes with appropriately qualified early childhood staff to ensure the best possible learning environment for our children.
