"We did 'try is for a day'. It was amazing -- totally impressed by the high quality secondary language and science program. Classroom teacher was so nice and kind. I will definitely consider this school."
"My daughter just loves the school and we are lucky enough to enjoy the new sports center in the first year of transition!"
"I have never felt more ostracised and isolated then I did when I was in Korowa. I was never able to talk about it in the past because of the trauma it caused me but now that I've graduated, I feel comfortable enough to speak out about the blatant abuse (despite the zero-tolerance bullying policy they claim to have) I suffered through for 7 years of my life. Speaking of false advertising, Korowa portrays themselves as a diverse, open-minded, accepting school - yet this is far from the truth. They are bigoted, lack proper representation (having token Asians on posters does not change the fact that such girls are always shunned and mocked), and do not know how to handle delicate situations. Instead, they opt for spending 33 MILLION dollars on the new sports centre to lull people into a false sense of happiness, and guest speakers who are more targeted towards THEM than the girls themselves (always removed and never address the actual issue, therefore perpetuating the problem). I guess that's where the 35k a year goes - not towards our education, that's for sure. Korowa has NEVER had the benefit of their students in mind, unless those students happen to be white, rich, been-there-since-Junior-School, netball-playing cishet girls, or the ones who are incredibly smart with the ability to pull up their ATAR so they can brag. Do NOT fall into their trap. They draw innocent people into their web of deceit and lies and when you realise what's happened, it's already too late. Leaving the school was the best decision I have ever made."
"I was invited to provide a LinkedIn Masterclass to the leadership team at Korowa Anglican Girls' School in Glen Iris Melbourne on 17/12/18. Not only did the entire leadership team attend, including the principal Helen Carmody, but everyone was willing to learn, apply the new knowledge and pass on their skills to other staff and students. We all enjoyed a very collegiate experience and I look forward to returning to the school in 2019 for additional workshops. Very impressed! Sue Ellson :)"
"If you're planning to get top marks to help their rankings then they'll bend over backwards for you. Say you're struggling, need help, just an average student, then your grades won't help their story - be prepared to be moved on. Not particular to this private school I'm sure but particular to my experience."
