Welcome to Ormond Community Kindergarten! We are an independent, community-based establishment located in the beautiful suburb of Ormond, in the City of Glen Eira, Victoria. Our kindergarten is run by families, for families, making it a warm and welcoming environment for all.

Since our establishment in 1984, we have been dedicated to providing a meeting ground for children to laugh, learn, and engage with their community. Our roots lie in the old maternal child health building, and over 30 years later, we continue to build upon those foundations to create an environment that fosters engaged learners.

At Ormond Community Kindergarten, our incredible teachers are passionate about providing a fun and engaging educational program for our 3 and 4-year-old groups. They create a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere where children can thrive and develop essential skills.

Child safety is our utmost priority. We want every child to feel safe, happy, and empowered, which is why we have a zero tolerance policy towards child abuse. We understand our legal and moral obligations to take all concerns seriously and report any allegations or concerns about a child's safety and well-being to the appropriate authorities.

Cultural safety is also of great importance to us. We are committed to providing a safe environment for all children, including those from Aboriginal backgrounds, culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, and those with disabilities. We embrace diversity in all its forms and strive to build meaningful connections with our local community and the wider world.
