"This is the best HCF branch I have been to. I come here today to make a claim for some medication costs occurred during the past policy period. The receptionist was very friendly and efficient in arranging an consultant for me, and my consultant today was very professional. She processed my claim and went through all the paper works for me, which saved me a lot time. I would recommend this branch as the branch to go if you would like to claim in person."

"I was signed up for cashback on the suggestion.of one of the customer service staff. I had no prior knowledge or interest in the product or any HCF life product. The cover, which is supposed to provide some financial assistance should you have a heart attack. A couple of years later I had an attack and emailed them. They sent me a twenty page document basically requiring me to climb mount everest before they would pay any claim. I would advise anyone considering this or any of the life policies to look at the claim forms first. While I did not follow the claim through - as I wasnt going to devote three months of basically full time effort and reseach to meet their overwhelmingly unreasonable requirements, I urge anyone considering getting involved with HCF life to please think carefully. I can honestly say it was the worst experience I have ever had with any institution, particularly one who is trading on the reputation of the health fund ( the health insurance I have no issue with) this is HCF life to which I refer."

"All the call center customer service representatives are sassy as hell, huge attitudes. When I ask to suspend my covers and don't want to give a reason as I don't think that's any of their business, this lady said that's not how it works and I'd need their manager's approval to suspend my covers... OK how about I cancel it all together. Do I need your approval now? The covers are ok, not that great value for money. The best thing about HCF is the dental covers, even then it's only ok. I have been with them for years and don't feel that the benefits is that great. Kind of a waste of money.... I won't be recommending these guys to anyone."
