If you decide to make an online purchase, rest assured that you can return any faulty or incorrectly fitting products for an exchange or refund. Please refer to our Returns Policy for Online purchases, as well as our Returns Policy for purchases made at our Paddington store.
When buying your Birkenstocks, please be mindful of getting the correct length and width. It is recommended to leave a few millimeters of space in the heel and toe areas. Your toes should not touch the cork wall at the front, and your heel should not touch the back. Following these guidelines will enhance the longevity of your Birkenstocks.
Once you place an order, we will send it via Australia Post, with delivery typically taking 2 or more business days. Our aim is to dispatch all orders as soon as possible, often on the same day, depending on the time of receipt.

"The Owner don't refund on Return Of the product, even though u return them the next day . Better to call them and enquire the availability of any desired model of footwear if at all one has in mind to buy with any specification. One can also take a public transport and hop off near Brigade hotel, Oxford street, Padington which is just 5mtrs away to the store Dear customers (especially Chefs) please note ; 1. Birkenstock (profi berki / Super berki) PU clogs is not at all comfortable and not advisable from comfort perspective for chefs. The material used is very hard and tough, for protection.The sole is also very hard without any cushion. 2. The store doesn't refund on Return Of the product. U can exchange with another footwear provided with sizes available as per one's need or can take a credit note with a validity of 3yrs but only at Birkenstock junction, paddington and Mosaman store. Not refunding is weird, when one Return on the same condition bought."
"Store owner and Birkenstock Australia is a complete joke. Paddington store only had a few styles available. I asked whether I could use my gift voucher online and was told it was in store purchases only. I asked if they could order in a shoe for me so that I could use the voucher with them - they declined. Contacted Birkenstock Australia to see if they could do anything about it. They said they wouldn't do anything about it either as it's a 'different' company. The shop is called Birkenstock and they only sell Birkenstock... An absolute embarrassment for a brand of their size and reputation. Terrible service and zero respect for their customers. 0/100 Edit: Received a call from Birkenstock Australia and they ordered and delivered the shoes to the Paddington store. They didn't have to do this as it was outside normal company procedures but they did so I'll commend them for that."
"Visited Paddington today to get soles re-sized… unfortunately unable to. Alexia provided great service in guiding me to find optimal size and shoe fit. I recommend this store and Alexia’s welcoming service for anyone looking to get Birkenstocks fitted properly :)."
"Unfortunately, I have been subject to the worst customer service experience at this store. I am not one to leave reviews, however, given the continued issues I felt it necessary to share. Early December 2022, I went & purchased a hard cork shoe based on the advice of the salesperson, however, I was informed after purchasing (& before I used the sandal) that it was actually not suitable for my feet & that I instead required the soft cork. I returned to the store the next day & they said they would not have stock of the soft cork in my desired colour for weeks, so I requested a refund. I asked for the manager who as he entered the front desk immediately just asserted "No Refunds!". I then attempted to explain the situation & what had occurred but he was extremely dismissive & pointed to a mediocre sign (that doesn't comply with consumer law) hidden behind a plant. He then came up with the excuse that he "knew" that I wanted a refund because of a "change of mind" after I had already explained the incorrect direction by his salesperson. After I immediately denied this claim, he then said I should take na exchange & "give it to someone for Christmas". I had made it abundantly clear that I wanted a refund & tried to explain the pertinent laws to him. He again refused to provide the appropriate refund. Ultimately, I had to leave the firm as the manager just began to try & shift blame to me & also said "Take it to Fair Trading & watch what happens". I ended sending a letter of demand to the company, hoping it would reach someone higher up & gave them two weeks to respond. I eventually received a response, however, to my surprise, the same manager had responded & asserted that I was aggressive. He also said he "needed me to leave because of the rise in aggression to retail workers". Again these false allegations are inappropriate & a blatant distraction to his lack of competence & customer service. I was left with no choice but to make a formal complaint to Fair Trading. Unfortunately, this did nothing because the manger responded with the false claim that it was a "change of mind" purpose after refusing to accept his employee's mistake. I would still like assistance to fix this issue because the manager is a poor representation of the company & has continued to lie & not accept wrongdoing. Avoid this store if you can."
