"Whoever was the triage nurse from about 10:30pm tonight (20/07/2023) should unfortunately not be in this line of work. She was extremely rude, impatient and seemed to know very little about some of the basic procedures. I understand the wait times can sometimes be extremely lengthy and patients with more serious conditions get attending to first and foremost however my partner and I had some very simple questions to ask which she seemed to be frustrated with and then mentioned something along the lines of “there’s other patients in more critical conditions like having a heart attack”. This was a horrible and unprofessional thing to say to someone who just had a simple question to ask about having X-Rays sent to their local GP. Fortunately there was a very polite and helpful lady working reception that night, thanks to her we were able to get the answer we needed. The wait times at not only this ER but most ER’s in Sydney are pretty appalling, we ended up leaving after 4 hours."
"Hospital should be shut down.. emergency is a joke there no staff and doctor.. better suffer at home rather then suffering sitting on a chair there.. they don't care if die in front of them ... absolute disaster...."
"Disgusting, repulsive service here at mt druitt alcatraz hospital that's bcos the majority of the Arrogant so call rude pathetic Asian nurses and junior wannabes who claim to care ..and you wonder why your under payed?"
"Worst hospital ever should not even be operational at all. After watching people walk out the emergency room after they had sat in emergency for over 10hours. I was able to get a bed after 3 hours while blood was coming out my daughter's mouth because she had a tooth taken out that day and she could not sleep, when I did get the bed my daughter was not taken care of I gave her pain relief because after another 3 hours she still was not seen by a doctor it was joke and to top it off when she did get some rest blood was everywhere on the bed once again I had to make the nurse aware of this my daughter could have chocked on her blood, because of the lack of care at that hospital never again would I go to that hospital."
