Welcome to Somers Tennis Club, located at 68 Camp Hill Road in Somers, Australia. Our establishment is a point of interest for both locals and visitors alike. Whether you're a seasoned player or just starting out, we have something to offer for everyone.

Founded in 1929, Somers Tennis Club has been a pillar of the community for over 90 years. Our humble beginnings started with two asphalt courts at Garden Square, which were provided by the Shire Council. Since then, we have grown and expanded to meet the needs of our members.

In 1984, we relocated to RW Stone Reserve on Camp Hill Road, where we now have two plexipave courts with lighting. Our current clubhouse, which was built in 1994 by dedicated volunteers, replaced the old tin shed that had served as our clubhouse for many years.

Over the years, we have made several improvements to our facilities. In 2005, we added a third court, a synthetic grass court with lights. In 2013, we resurfaced our plexipave courts with Rebound Ace HSA, a cushioned hard court system designed specifically for outdoor use. And in 2018, we resurfaced our synthetic grass court and replaced our halogen lights with more energy-efficient LED lights.

At Somers Tennis Club, we pride ourselves on providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. Our membership is made up of about two-thirds local residents and one-third non-residents, creating a diverse and vibrant community of tennis enthusiasts. Our stunning surroundings are the envy of many, and our club is privileged to offer outstanding facilities for both social and serious tennis players.

For our current financial members, court hire is free and does not require a booking. Non-members can easily book a court for today or tomorrow using the form on our website. If you prefer to plan ahead, you can also make an advance booking by clicking 'View Schedule'.
