"I absolutely love this place but our last visit was a little disappointing. We came for a mid week lunch which was very nice. I asked for some water for the table and subsequently was charged nearly $10 for a bottle of sparkling water. We ordered a second round of drinks that never arrived and all the toilets were out of order. I’m not sure how you can operate without working toilets and would have thought an emergency plumber should have been called. We will still come back and hope these issues will have been resolved."

"Myself, my daughter and our husbands booked an overnight stay at The Flinders with a mid week package that included dinner and breakfast.After a very warm welcome at reception from Adam, we went to our rooms and to our delight the rooms were spotless with great amenities. Great selection in the mini bar and the prices were very reasonable. Food at dinner and breakfast was delicious with a great varied menu at both. Although very busy, the service staff in the dining room were very attentive. A very early walk around the golf course with spectacular ocean views, then after breakfast we showered and then shopped in the rather unique retail main street shops where we found a number of purchases. A great environment was reflected by the warmth of the local residents whoever we met. We’ve decided to make this stay at least an annual event and are going to invite friends, next time. Thanks to everybody who made this stay so memorable."

"We just enjoyed a weekend away in flinders and we’re so happy with our choice to stay at the flinders hotel! We went with the gin high tea pack… incredible! The experience was amazing, staff friendly and the food and drinks were phenomenal! The hotel itself, another hit. Staff were so accomodating, the room was perfect and breakfast the next morning was great. Will most definitely be back… probably to do the exact same thing again! Loved it!"

"Just enjoyed a fabulous girls weekend at Flinders Hotel with the Gin High Tea Package. The service and high tea was fabulous. The hotel room’s were a beautiful quality & clean. The reception staff friendly. The breakfast huge & delicious. Unfortunately our night there was ruined by a couple staying in a nearby room who fought loudly & aggressively for over 4 hours. Their language & volume was appalling, rude & disrespectful to other patrons. The hotel had no after hours staff or contact phone to contact to complain. This needs to be rectified. We nearly opted to call the police. As that was our only option. We know other patrons had a sleepless night & complained as well. I now appreciate the importance of hotel security and after hours staff. Was a little disappointed that no effort to compensate our night was made with even in a small gesture such as a bar voucher was offered to us nor a beautiful elderly couple we met at breakfast whose room was directly beneath the substance fuelled domestic. A great hotel, staff & package sadly let down by one small detail. No Security."
