"This place is out of control, nurses are wild here, they mentally abuse doctors and tell them what to do, seriously how is this even legal??? I feel sorry for the doctor sacrificing countless years of their life studying and yet they get told off by nurses, what is going on, I think work cover really need to investigate this place, think about it would you put your life in the hands of a nurse or a doctor, I'm pretty sure the choice is clear, doctor need a hospital free from discrimination and harassment from nurses so they can save lives. To the hospital management you really need to look into this ASAP, I will be reporting this to work cover and the Health minister."
"Went to emergency with my wife, received exceptional care from the lovely nurses and doctors. They were so busy but treated us so well with great care and compassion. I was blown away by how well they handled so many people and their team work and culture was fantastic. Thank you for your wonderful care"
"Ward D12 has possibly the most heartless and insensitive nurses and manager there. My father has only been given days to live and we wish to spend as much time by his side as possible. Instead of being understanding of our situation the nurses have found every means to make these final moments with my father as horrible as possible. When we try to ask about what procedures and medicine is being injected in him they reply with sarcasm as if were stupid when simply were asking so we could explain to my non English speaking father so he isn’t afraid as there is a language barrier. They’ve enforced their wards 2 person limit only on our family but we watched other non brown families exceed that visitors limit to up to 5 people. We simply said nicely that we just want to spend as much time with our father as possible and the manager simply said ‘he isn’t dying he’ll be fine’ when we were already told by emergency department my father is going through organ failure and has at most 1 week left. They even tried to tell us he isn’t in palliative care when we’ve been clearly discharged from Royal Prince Alfred with him on Palliative care. They’ve even called security on us for simply being in the waiting room waiting for our turn to be by our fathers bedside. I do not understand how you sign up to be a nurse and can have such malice and petty feelings towards the people you care for. Emergency department was so accomodating and understanding but Ward D12 is just simply a night mare. I would hate for these final moments with my dad to be this negative because some people feel the need to show dominance simply because they can and won’t get reprimanded for it. If you have a family member dying DO NOT send them to this hospital."
"I was extremely impressed with the professionalism and efficiency. All the nurses and doctors were wonderful and took the time to listen. Plenty of staff around that were happy to help. Was attended to, treated and discharged within an hour and a half. Really appreciated the friendly and helpful assistance that I was given. Thank you to all those hard working doctors and nurses who look after us!"
"Grateful for the attentive care given to my husband from the amazing ER staffs (thanks heaps Katrina and Mark) to all the nurses in ward B2.1 to the doctors (Dr Anika you're amazing for explaining everything to me) who took care of my husband's health and gave me the assurance that everything will be fine. To the environmental staffs and food staffs and those that transport the patients, you are all amazing in the jobs you do, thank you so much. Campbelltown Hospital has changed for the better. State of the art facilities that would make us locals so proud to be living here."
