"Only for masochists. If you want a nightmare experience then use kitchen connection. The worst below: Project managers ignoring your requests and always changing the deadlines on the day or after nobody shows up. Also, PMs are disrespectful, defensive and unprofessional. Never apologise for their mistakes. Sales people lying to you, what you order and pay for is not what you get. They don't understand maths/can't take measurements and do not have product knowledge. They try, you pay for their mistakes with money, wasted time, never met expectations. Timeframes blowing up from 5 to 25 weeks. Final measurements are wrong and when your kitchen arrives it is all wrong, so you wait extra 2-3 weeks extra for each small correction. Again and again and again. You buy expensive sink/rangehood/microwave/fridge/cooktop because they measure and say it is ok. Then you have to return it and buy something else, because they can't install it or it doesn't fit. Good luck with stock availability, restocking fees, etc. In the end you will be getting something you don't like, but there is no choice if you want to finish your project within 3-6 months. You will not get what you want, order and pay for. It will be something else, worse, and more expensive. You pay $$$$ then kitchen connection converts it to $ materials and sub-par service."
"We had an appointment with Hannah and she was super informative and experienced. Tony, Hannah and Paul helped us to choose our kitchen and the renovations kicked off in a few weeks. Most of the subcontractors were reliable but a few could do better, my advice is not to pay any of them in full until they finish their work. If we go back we would also negotiate not to pay Kitchen Connection in full before the job is finished. The variations were around $3k and a couple of items that the designer promised, they didn’t happen on the actual job so ensure you have everything on paper. I.e. we were told that our broom cabinet will have power outlet which were overlooked eventually."
"I made an appointment via their Facebook. Since early for the appointment, I went in and just browse around. Davinia immediately came and started to show me around and explain things to me. She was very friendly. After browsing I informed that I had an appointment but by then, I had already specify some of my requirements and colour scheme. The manager Paul, came by a couple of times and offered me coffee and tea when I was browsing. I was impressed with the services rendered and made an appointment for their design consultant Tony, to come to my house. I was surprised that a few days later when he came, he was briefed on all aspect of the conversation I had with the Paul. Tony was very professional and personable. I signed up for the kitchen. Will see if the project and delivery continue the good impression I have of them and their good customer relationship/services."
"Kitchen Connection, I never want to recommend this company to others. I've never experienced such poor renovation and customer service. 1. No communication (no response) I can’t get in contact with the builder even though the work has NOT been completed. They don’t seem to feel the need to respond to us because they’ve already been paid in full. 2. Dead space As our kitchen is small, I requested as much storage space as possible. But, they made a lot of dead space. They also didn’t do their job well, measuring incorrectly and attaching the wrong parts. 3. Huge difference in the quote and the actual payment The designer’s quote and the trader’s quote are highly different (even more than double the original quote). At the time of the contract, the designer said that if the trader’s quote is different from that of him, it will be deducted from the cabinet price. But later when this issue was mentioned, it was only a lie from him and we needed to pay the more than double of the quoted price. I have done kitchen renovation with various companies whenever I moved, but I have never experienced such a disappointing job. Kitchen Connection has been the worst renovation company. I’m so upset with their no response and uncompleted job which is also done incorrectly, I’m going to report it to Fair Trading. I never want to recommend Kitchen Connection to others."
"Disappointed with the service. Kitchen arrived without handles and incomplete pantry door, dishwasher measurement was incorrect and the dishwasher didn’t fit . There was a 4 week delay in getting a new pantry door panel. Kitchen Connection did not take responsibility for the incomplete pantry door and the project manger refused to send the installer to complete remaining jobs in the kitchen without the door panel. We paid additional visit charges for installer to come and do the remaining jobs and make kitchen functional. The kitchen was finished in 6 weeks as opposed to 4 weeks. Project manager never took the initiative to update us and we had to chase him multiple times for a response. Via email and phone. However I would like to point out that the trades people they engage were professional and proficient."
