West Epping Pre-School

Welcome to West Epping Pre-School, a renowned establishment and point of interest located on Dent Street in Epping, Australia. Our preschool is dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for children, families, and the wider community.

At West Epping Pre-School (WEPS), our philosophy is centered around the wellbeing of each child, their family, and the greater community. We firmly believe in promoting and respecting children's agency, allowing them to take an active role in their learning and development. With a strong focus on child safety and wellbeing, we adhere to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.

We understand the critical importance of the first five years of a child's life in shaping healthy brain development. As such, we are committed to identifying and addressing any challenges or vulnerabilities early on, ensuring that every child has the best start in life and becomes a confident, independent learner. The wellbeing of the child is at the core of our decision-making processes.

Our vision also encompasses a dedication to the safety, wellbeing, and empowerment of all children who access our preschool. This includes children from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds, those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, all genders, and children with additional needs, whether intellectual, physical, or mental health-related. We prioritize child protection and have zero tolerance for any form of abuse or harm. Our staff undergo continuous training to meet our obligations as mandatory reporters, and we strive to comply with all relevant child protection laws and regulations.

- Term 1: Monday 30th January to Thursday 6th April

- Term 2: Monday 24th April to Friday 30th June

- Term 3: Monday 17th July to Friday 22nd September

- Term 4: Monday 9th October to Friday 15th December
