"The repairs done to my car was done professionally. However, the general condition of the vehicle when handed back was a lot worse than when delivered."
"Edit: Description added The two stars is for poor communication. We were told our car would take 4-5 days to repair. We were rung later the same day and told our keys had been accidentally run over and destroyed, then not long after were rung back to say it was actually a different car and our keys were fine. Obviously this was a relief but didn’t fill us with confidence. We were then rung the next day (day 2) to say our car was ready to be picked up. We queried if everything had been done as this was ahead of schedule and they assured us it was. Arrived to pick up the car and was given the keys and told it was all done, upon inspection it was obvious the job was only half done. An assessor came out and inspected the vehicle and agreed it hadn’t been finished. We were told the repairer must have missed it and we’ll have to bring it back, he (the assessor) would personally chase it up and we wouldn’t be forgotten about. Two days later and we’d heard nothing so rung up. We were told the part we needed was on back order so this was why it wasn’t finished and we booked in another date to drop off. Dropped off car and was told it would be ready by mid afternoon. Got to 4pm and no one had called, so again we initiated contact and rung up. We were told the car had been ready for an hour and the receptionist thought someone else had called us and apologised. Everyone was very apologetic and pleasant to deal with, but there was a lot of ball dropping and very poor communication. The repair itself (when completed) seems to be of a high standard so we are grateful for that."
"I had my car reversed into and NRMA put me through to motorserve for repairs and it has been a very pleasant experience. My car was serviced very quickly (about 1 week), the communication was amazing throughout and my car came back looking better than ever!"
"This is a negative review for firstly a job not done right and secondly horrible customer service. My car had a smashed rear windscreen and had shards of glass inside the booth cavity and needed to be removed. I was told by a customer service agent ( working in the capacity of triaging the vehicle) by the name of Will that I am best to use my insurance as a glass repairer will not be able to remove the glass shards internally as it requires a major booth removal. Will was rather nonchalant about this and candidly dismissed my suggestion of taking it to an external glass repairer who would find the job within a day. A week later I make my way back to Brookvale that is an hour from where I live as it was the next available motor serve that had an appointment. To begin with, there were multiple shards of glass still in booth not vacuumed. And to my horror at 430 on a Friday afternoon when opening my booth I can hear the glass creaking away . The very reason as to why I chose the insurance in the first place ! Will had the cheek to firstly not own up to the mistake and was extremely obnoxious and rude. I had been left without a car for a week and yet he had the audacity to tell me he will make no promises and will check on Monday when it can be done. At the same time another mechanic who was present stated they will prioritise my car on Monday morning. Motorserve Brookvale has dropped the ball big time and need to evaluate who they hire in customer service. Especially to a customer who has just experienced a great level of disservice."
