"Had a problem with the driver's door of my 2010 Chrysler Sebring, the door would lock and unlock but the latch wouldn't operate and allow the door to open. I contacted copious mechanical repair and body shops and none would even have look at the car. I got the NRMA to plug the car in looking for any related error codes. The serviceman advised the faulty latch (actuator) needs replacing and a good auto electrician may be able to change it. Grady's came to mind as they did some great work for me a few years ago on another car. Grady's took on the job and after much persistance got the broken latch of the closed door to open. A new actuator was sourced from jeep based on the car's chassis number but it was different and couldn't be used. A new actuator couldn't found here or the USA, another complete door was purchased from the wreckers and Grady's got the the actuator from it and started to put the car back together. I picked the car yesterday and everything works very well - I was thinking the worst. I highly recommend Grady's Auto Electrical, all through this saga they were friendly and professional and they did a fantastic job on an issue that many others didn't want to know about."
"Excellent. I rang to see if they could do an air-con regas asap due to forecast hot weather and an aged mum to get around. Told to bring my car in next morning and they got straight onto it. The system needed some o-rings replaced, but all fixed promptly and at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended."
"No question about the expertise from this company, but I just felt once they knew I could fix the problem for much much less money else where got overcharged for diagnosis. Just a note to everyone, if your car needs attention from another mechanic at the same time 1 minute equals 2 minutes or hours. Everything doubles. You don’t want three guys working your car at the same time. I personally never heard of such practice at any mechanical or car electrical shop. I will investigate further with consumer rights. All that being said, they did find the problem, just over priced in my opinion."
"What a great company. I was a 'walk-in' off the street, but John was able to sort my switch issue the same day to an extremely high standard of workmanship. It's a great job and I'm stoked with the results. Communication was excellent, I was only charged an hour's labour, all round it was an unusually positive experience of a car workshop! Will highly recommend to others and take my car there in future for sure. Thanks again John - top service!"
