"A very interesting and small Izakaya hidden in darlinghurst, definitely have the izakaya vibes. The Sashimi was fresh but cuts are quite small. The fried oysters were ok but wasn’t that fresh and the karaage is really good. Service was good and friendly."
"Nice and authentic Japanese restaurant. We loved the sea urchin sashimi and the ox tongue. Deep fried oysters are with the wait, crispy outside, juicy inside. The homemade dumplings are impressive too, went perfect with the chilli sauce. However, the apple pie dessert is a bit bitter inside and the outer layer is a bit too soft as well. This restaurant only has five tables so make sure you make a reservation in advance."
"I really enjoyed the atmosphere & style of Nom and the staff were so friendly. It is so popular you need a book week in advance sometimes more. It's a small restaurant reminiscent of a traditional Izakaya in Japan. The food was simple but absolutely delicious it was worth the 2 week wait. The assorted Sashimi was my favourite dish especially the mackerel and highly recommend the Plum Sake, I don't usually drink sake but the plum sake was amazing. The cost was about 80$pp for our dinner I definitely would go again"
