Reviews of MISO Japanese Restaurant
"Visited here for lunch - the service is efficient, and staff are friendly. I ordered today special (see the picture, 25 AUD) is really big and full of variety with good taste! Few highlights are below as per my preference: 1. The beats root juice is great - very likely fresh compressed as I can taste strong beet root flavor but harmonized with other fruits. 2. Salmon are fresh and tonkatsu is not too oily or hard to chew - I prefer this type than that in yayoi because Miso's is all lean pork. 3. Miso soup is a bit light but ok - I personally like strong and a big thick miso soup. 4. Fries in general good quality - not too oily. The atmosphere of dining in is pretty cozy and relaxed and environment is clean. Will try to revisit to choose something different!"
"I had a fantastic experience at this Japanese bento restaurant! The variety of dishes in the bento box was impressive, and the salmon sashimi was incredibly delicious and fresh. The only downside was that the rice was a bit hard. Nonetheless, the overall quality and flavors were excellent. I highly recommend trying their bento options!"
"Fast Japanese food restaurant. They served set meal for both dinning and takeaway. There are so many choices on their menu, and most of them in $20-$30 per set. It’s a good place to go during lunch time."
"Given the concept, it would have been 5 stars for what it offered if it wasn't for the sub standard service. They specialise in set meals (Teishoku) and bento boxes and are part of the Masuya chain which are synonymous with quality from my experience. So, with this store, since they specialise in set meals in the middle of the CBD, they are catering to office people who have a set time for lunch. We were served by an untrained waiter who took 2 orders wrong with delayed the food of the two people for 15 minutes in a group of 9. Other than that, their wagyu beef was juicy and flavoursome. Yes, flavourSOME! This was in their Chirashi Sushi & Wagyu Set. The waiter forgot to ask how I wanted the salmon as there was 3 ways to cook it. They chose to give me the grilled salmon which was cooked well. The other elements were fresh and good. They pride themselves on their pork Tonkatsu but my colleague said it was quite tough, although it looked plump and juicy. Perhaps it was because it was free range. I will hold off on my judgement till I eat it but it did look good."
