"I can't fathom why Kmart's registers are located in the middle of the store rather than near the exit; the logic and common sense that guides I think every single other retailer worldwide appears to have escaped the powers that be. However, it is saved from a one-star review thanks to the outstanding customer service of Eleni, the sales assistant I spoke to when looking for an item that was listed as in stock on the website. Eleni made a genuine effort to help me find the product, which as it turned out, had only just arrived from the warehouse and had not yet been put on the shelf. She was super friendly and kind throughout our interaction, and is a credit to her employer; it just goes to show that when staff go out of their way to help a customer, their actions put the whole store in a far better light."

"So disappointed in Kmart for the first time. My fiancée and I have made so many purchases here. This evening I returned one lid from a set of pots which I recently purchased, however one of the lids handle was broken. I looked up the returns policy on the Kmart website which states that I could return the item for a replacement at any store. Note that I have spent Uber money to get there and back home. Only for the young girl named Zara at the returns department to tell me that I needed to return the pot which the lid belongs to as well in order to receive an exchange. So basically I had to pay for an Uber there and back and she expected me to do another trip there and back just to have exchanged the lid? Spending double the money for a set of pots because of having to get there and back twice. Needless to say that I just left the lid with the broken handle right there. A brand new set of pots which was delivered damaged. All I wanted was to exchange the lid. Why am I expected to make two trips for that? Just read another two reviews about Zara not accommodating returns and being rude. She deserves an employee of the month award for losing customers to this store. Well done…."

"This store is relatively well stoked. It never has any trolleys available though. Staff always tell you to “walk to Woolies to get a trolley” which is absolutely ridiculous. Do better. Edit: they also NEVER answer the phone. It rings out. Down to one star."

"I always end up wasting immense amount of time when I visit a Kmart store. Three times in a row I’ve gone to this store with the website saying the item is in stock but the store staff can never find it. Something somewhere is very wrong with the way Kmart stores are operated. Massive waste of time, the savings you make on the well priced products is just not worth the amount of time you waste trying to get what you need. Extremely disappointed today and really tested my patience."

"Kmart Store located in: Marrickville Metro Shopping Centre is one of the big Kmart stores in the area ,the store is well presented, one of the better Kmart stores I have visited, it has some nice colour coordinated pieces of clothing selling at a reasonable prices .both for men and ladies as well as for children, recommended for shopping if you are on low budget."
