"This was a great place for an affordable Italian meal. The interior decor is fresh and vibrant and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. The spicy funghi and tiramisu pancakes are standout. Thought the pasta fritters were good but flavours needed to come out a bit more. They have a bar you can order cocktails at all day with juices shakes and coffees available too. Would recommend! Check out @lucaseatsbig for more reviews!"
"Did the set menu 120pp on a Saturday with the 10% surcharge. Drinks are basic and the negroni spagliato is good. The antipasto wasn't bad. The pasta and pizza servings are small and it's 1 plate or 1 slice of pizza per 3 people. We asked the staff if there was more food coming out and we were told no. I posted a moderate review while eating because I felt like compared to other packages in the area this was by far the most expensive with the least amount of food. A staff member saw my review mid meal and told me their portions were set at 1 piece or plate between 3 people. I accepted their explanation and said I was still happy to pay but I felt like there were other less expensive experiences in the area that were far superior. I was then asked by another staff member to remove my review and they would remove the Saturday night surcharge. So I accepted however we still paid a bill of $720 for 6 pple and left to go eat elsewhere."
"Had a great experience dining at Fortuna Darlinghurst. Presentation and flavours of the dishes were great and food came out quickly."
"Very Instagram friendly venue, particularly for female outings. Good service and good drinks list. Good venue for larger group gatherings (as they offer a $99pp bottomless menu for 2hrs). If you are going to have a few drinks, the food would pair quite well. Alas, this wasn’t our intention and we did not have any alcoholic beverages. The food tasted overly rich, sweet and appeared made from sub-par produce. The venue was also poorly soundproof, with little to absorb the bouncing noise. It got unbearably loud when only half full."
"Have been to this place twice, first for dinner and the second time for breakfast. Both times were so good! Not only is the food delicious, but the staff are so friendly and helpful. I uploaded content from my visits on my blog @alannah.eats and I will leave some pics of the breakfast here :)"
