Welcome to Polyglot Theatre, an innovative and daring establishment located in Abbotsford, Australia. As an institution, we are proud to acknowledge and respect the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we create and live. We pay our respects to the Elders, both past and present, who have nurtured this land for over 65,000 years, allowing children and families to create and play here.

At Polyglot Theatre, our mission is to provide children everywhere with the opportunity for imagination and adventure through participation in innovative and daring theatre. We believe in the power of play and strive to create joyful and interactive experiences for children of all abilities and their families.

One of our captivating works is "Bees," a joyful interactive experience that welcomes children into a world of community, communication, wonder, and imagination. We also offer "Paper Planet," a universally accessible experience that families find utterly captivating. This immersive and creative experience allows children to explore their creativity and imagination one at a time in our "Voice Lab."

Our repertoire of performance works is available for touring and presentation, including "Ants," an interactive performance that brings children together to explore the landscape around them. "Boats" engages children and their families in accessible play that transforms familiar spaces into something wild, unpredictable, and fun. "Tangle" invites children and their families to create a giant, vibrant, interactive artwork that shifts and grows over time. And lastly, our construction site wonderland, where whole communities come together to think big and build the city shapes of their dreams.

In addition to our performances, we also offer workshops that inspire children to explore their imaginative potential. Through these workshops, children can experience the joys of creativity and collaboration while developing their critical thinking skills.
