"Our communities theatre is about to entertain us with the spectacular musical "WE WILL ROCK YOU" by Queen and Ben Elton. Not only is this production a great family night out but it incorporates our towns talented young people. We are an extremely lucky town to have its own theatre and some very talented teachers to train and assist others who want to be involved in the performing arts. Now Why Cant Our Local Shire also Appreciate this. On Saturday whilst going to our local shops in main street. I witnessed instruments and sound equipment being set up and also young people standing around with signaged jackets. I enquired to a lady what it was about. She informed me of the oncoming concert and said they were going to do a bit of singing from the show. I asked if there were leaflets and she stated that the council would not allow them to pass around. I am disgusted. Something that keeps our young ones interested in the arts. Not out causing trouble but doing something truly worthwhile. You Are A Disgrace Moorabool Shire .Does This Mean There Will Be No Political Pamphlets Handed Out On The Streets Next Voting Session."
