Welcome to the River Gum Performing Arts Centre, located at 58 Fordholm Road in Hampton Park, Australia. This establishment is a joint project between the Hampton Park Secondary School and River Gum Primary School, conveniently situated directly opposite the primary school.

Thanks to the BER funding, River Gum was able to create this magnificent facility, which has become a point of interest in the community. The PAC, as we affectionately call it, boasts a seating capacity of 497 people, ensuring that there is ample space for everyone to enjoy performances comfortably.

Equipped with a large projector screen and a fully working kitchen for catering purposes, the River Gum Performing Arts Centre is not only suitable for performances, but also for events and functions. When not in use by River Gum for our Multi-Media classes, we offer the facility for hire to members of the community.

Our fold-up theatre-style seating is designed to provide maximum comfort and an unobstructed view of the stage for every guest. The theatre was specifically designed with excellent acoustics, ensuring that every performance is enjoyed to its fullest potential. Additionally, the venue is air-conditioned, guaranteeing a comfortable experience for all attendees.

To enhance the overall experience, the control room is equipped with top-of-the-line equipment, including a digital Yamaha LS9 64 channel sound desk, ETC lighting desk, and a screen projection system. The entire building has been professionally wired for sound, with stage boxes and patch bays strategically placed throughout. We also have a wide range of vocal, instrument, and wireless microphones to accommodate various performances.

In addition to serving River Gum Primary School and Hampton Park Secondary School, we are proud to offer our venue to community groups when it is not in use by the schools. This way, we can contribute to the cultural enrichment of the entire community.
