About the Business
Welcome to Blue Wheelers Umina Beach! My name is Ron and my trusty Blue Wheeler companion is Shazam. I have been proudly serving the Umina Beach area since 2014, providing top-notch pet grooming services to our furry friends.
As a pet owner myself, I understand the importance of maintaining your dog's skin health. That's why I always recommend monitoring for any signs of irritation, scratching, or biting. If your dog experiences discomfort, I can provide specialized hypoallergenic shampoos, flea treatments, or even help with removing knots and tangles.
If you're a resident of Umina Beach and looking to give your best friend some much-needed TLC, simply fill out our convenient booking form. I can't wait to meet you and your beloved dog!
One of the things I love most about being a Blue Wheeler is the opportunity to meet different dogs and their owners every day. It feels like spending time with friends when I leave in the morning. Witnessing the joy and playfulness of dogs after their grooming session is truly the best part of my job. Knowing that they are happy and have had a bit of fun brings me immense satisfaction.
Animals have always held a special place in my heart, and my own dogs are an integral part of my family. When the chance came to change careers and work outdoors, surrounded by dogs and great people, I couldn't resist. Becoming a Blue Wheeler has been a passion of mine, and I strive to treat my clients and their owners with the same respect, kindness, and compassion that I would want for my own dogs.
My personal favorite dog breed is the Maltese. I adore their playfulness, loyalty, and, most of all, their cuddles. They bring so much joy into my life.
My journey with the Blue Wheelers family started almost two years ago. I was seeking a change from my previous career, and my deep love for animals led me to join this amazing team. To this day, I find immense pleasure and satisfaction in making my furry clients happy and comfortable during their grooming sessions.
Originally from Fiji, I moved to Australia when I was 15 years old. My wife and I have made Umina Beach our home, where we are now raising our two children and sharing our lives with a house full of animals. Becoming a Blue Wheeler has allowed me to have a better work-life balance, as I can now make breakfast and drop off my kids at school before starting my day. In my previous job, I was always at work before my family even woke up. Now, I can be there for them, helping with homework, cooking dinner, and enjoying quality time together.
Please note that our groomers may take some time to reply, as they are out grooming dogs all day. Rest assured, we will do our best to get back to you as quickly as possible. When someone is as busy as our groomers, it's safe to say they are worth the wait!
We appreciate you taking the time to share your Blue Wheeler experience with us. If you have any concerns or would like to provide further feedback, we will be sure to get back in touch with you.
Lastly, we want to acknowledge and pay our respects to the Traditional Custodians of the land throughout Australia. We recognize their deep connections to the land, sea, and community, and extend our respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Thank you for choosing Blue Wheelers Umina Beach, where your pet's happiness and comfort are our top priorities.

Reviews
"To begin he was 40 minutes late. He used cold water and dumped the waste water onto our driveway and front lawn. Then when he was “done” my dog wasn’t completely dry but he deshed him anyway so now he is bleeding from his head and both sides of his body. Afterwards I messaged him about this and he made an excuse saying that the deshedder is not sharp. I explained that I never said he cut him but was too rough and combed too much. He then apologised and a few minutes later sent me a photo of his deshedder comb. This will be first and last experience with this company. It cost $38 with no discounts for his tardiness and you ruined my dogs birthday."
"Professional and friendly service"
"This was the first time I have ever used a dog washing service and the experience was amazing not just for my American staffy but for my kids as well. My dog smells and feels and not mention looks amazing! Would highly recommend this service to anyone I know."
