Artarmon Park, located at the corner of Parkes Rd and Hampden Rd in Artarmon, is named after Ardthelmon Castle, the Irish home of William Gore. This connection to history adds an intriguing dimension to the park, making it a must-visit destination for history enthusiasts.

Barambah Reserve and Barcoo Reserve, both situated in Roseville, are also worth exploring. Barambah Reserve, located between nos 18 and 34 Barambah S, is named after Alderman Joseph Bales, who served as Mayor of Willoughby in the early 20th century. Barcoo Reserve, found between 52 and 54 Barcoo St, is named after Gregory Bartels, a prominent figure in Willoughby City Council's history. These parks pay tribute to influential individuals who have shaped the community.
