"Was given a room that had failed a fire suppression audit (stickers in bathroom showed this), fresh paint (no low-VOC) gave my wife and I a headache and couldn't be good for our baby. The aircon was very noisy and the curtains didn't properly block out the light. All in all. I didn't feel comfortable to sleep there and wouldn't recommend to anyone."

"Solid hotel for the price. Fantastic central location to most of Sydney’s attractions and has lots of public transportation around the area which really helped. The room was clean and decently-sized, the coffee machine worked well, the wifi was good, and the front desk staff were very receptive and welcoming."

"Rooms are small, but are an appropriate size for the price paid. Expedia advertises Daily Housekeeping but turned out to be Daily (except Sunday) towel changes, except practically, this never even happened most days until I complained to reception. A full week with no real cleaning, means the rooms get grotty by the end of the week."

"The hotel was not accurately described according to photos and website, hotel was described as "boutique" and nothing about it is boutique. Sure, lobby looks visually fantastic but there is hardly any food, no drinks and they host a happy hour but there is actually no bar or restaurant for the hotel itself. Go into the elevator and you'll be in for a surprise. Stairs to get down into shabby hallways and rubbish left outside rooms. Place has weird smell and rooms are more out-dated than the photos. Dust everywhere and doesn't look like they vacuum the floors. No water in fridges in the room and I saw a cockroach crawling in my bathroom. Honestly, I stayed in a backpacker's place better than this hotel. Only good thing is location. Price is truly not worth it for what you get, will not recommend to anyone else."

"I met the most wonderful receptionist (Melanie), when i arrived at the hotel early. I was checked into my room around 11 am, thanks to Melanie. The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location is great as its just a short stroll from central station, light rail, Hyde Park and many cafes and restaurants. I really liked the room decor and the bathroom is beautiful!"
