YEHS Hotel - Sydney Harbour Suites

"Nice hotel and well laid out. Locality is by darling harbour. Loads of shopping pubs and restaurants nearby. We had a well resourced apartment with everything we needed. 2 rooms, kitchen, spa bath and double shower. There's a pool on the upper floor."

"Well when we arrived which was late . Receptionist was polite and professional. We were warned there are renovations taking place between the hours of 8-5. There were 2 lifts but during these times only one could be used.They gave us a deluxe room , 2 bedrooms. It had got everything we needed. Washer,dryer, 2 TVs , kitchen, dishwasher, shower and jacuzzi bath. We didn’t use the cooker but there were warning signs to use extractor fan and open windows if used. We did use the microwave They provided us with tea ,coffee, soap , shampoo. The room needed TLC as things were looking outdated and shoddy but for the money it was great for our stay. Taxis couldn’t pull up right outside to collect you but it wasn’t far away. The cafe below was lovely. If you stayed on B&B this is where the accommodation would send you. Which is attached to the apartments . 4 day stay we found the location brilliant for Darling harbour.We went to the pool but didn’t use it . There just wasn’t not enough time . There was a sauna room and a gym. Cleaning done everyday , free coffee and tea by reception. Cost is $70 to get to Sydney airport. We booked through accommodation. Yes I would stay here again for the money. With the renovation being done it did get a pain with all the drilling if you aren’t a morning person I wouldn’t go there yet."

"It was fine, but not great. While the location was stand out, the walls were very thin and I could hear the family staying in the room next door all night. The room itself was okay, I booked a one bedroom deluxe apartment with a queen bed, it was comfortable if a little grim. The grey carpet was less than cheery and I don’t know why it was necessary to have two TVs, but I digress. Was too scared to use the stove or even have a hot shower as I was warned of the $1600 fine for setting off the smoke alarms. Free breakfast was okay, as was the pool and sauna (though the pop music playing loudly in the pool room did make the atmosphere a little eerie). Wouldn’t stay here again, I paid almost as much as the Hilton was charging, definitely didn’t live up to price, but it was fine, comfortable, easy."

"Very reasonably priced. Great location! We were surprised to find upon our arrival that we were staying in a 2 bedroom suite equipped with kitchen and washer/dryer with free washing powder. It being essentially a self contained apartment, we weren’t expecting our room to be cleaned daily but it was, and to a good standard as well which was also a bonus. We were also given free breakfast vouchers redeemable in the cafe next to the hotel. I recommend this accommodation as an affordable and well located with all the amenities you could need. What is not to like?!"
