"Hotel had a great location since it was near the tram and if you want some exercise, you can walk towards Circular Quay where the Sydney Opera house is located. Staff are very attentive and they always clean your room and provide you fresh set of towels. I would like to commend, James the Duty Manager on the weekend of July 22, who was very accommodating to our requests. Our 2 weeks stay in the hotel was really awesome"

"While the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth might not boast the most updated facilities, it delivers a classic charm that can't be found in modern establishments. Despite its vintage architecture, the accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained. The hotel's real gems are its staff members. They were consistently kind, professional, and accommodating, making my stay remarkably pleasant. Their exemplary service was a standout and definitely compensated for any lack in contemporary aesthetic. As someone who values fitness, I greatly appreciated the access to a full-fledged gym nearby. This was a significant bonus that allowed me to maintain my regular workout routine with ease. Another noteworthy convenience was the proximity to Ezymart. This store, open even at midnight, was a great resource for grabbing water and snacks, ensuring that I never went hungry or thirsty during my stay. Overall, despite some room for improvement in updating the facilities, the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth offers a pleasing experience primarily due to its exceptional staff and convenient amenities."

"Tiny rooms, booked for 3 people and they joined 2 double beds together in room the size of a match box. The entire bathroom including toilet seat was soaking wet after a shower as there is no full shower door. Booked for 3 people and only 2 towels were provided which was a minor issue at first until it took 4 attempts and 1.5hrs to drop off the third towel. My mother was waiting 1.5hrs to have a shower which made us late for paid events. Asked for a discount on car park due to poor experience and service….they said “we’ll give you a drinks voucher at their restaurant.” DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THEIR RESTAURANT. Food is really bad. I refused to take the voucher as I will not be coming back to this hotel. Breakfast “looked” good until they took 35mins to deliver an omelette and a massive wait to make a coffee. I left without eating even though i paid for it. My family enjoyed the breakfast though. There was a reason this was the only hotel available this weekend. I paid almost $700 for one night expecting 5 star service. This is a 3 star hotel at best. Very dissatisfied and disappointed."

"Sensational place to stay. Fabulous location especially for Vivid. The staff provide professional and efficient service and we had a memorable stay for our 37th Wedding Anniversary. The food was tasty and delicious especially the breakfast. Highly recommended. Thank you for making our Anniversary special. See you soon as it is a lovely hotel with clean and spacious rooms. You can't fault."

"Front of house were so courteous and friendly, from the concierge to reception. We upgraded to room overlooking the lovely Chiefly Square Garden Courtyard (complimentary). The room was immaculately appointed, with a king size bed; unfortunately the big screen TV didn't have reception. The buffet breakfast had an amazing range, from Asian to Western, including a gluten free range of muffins and juices. Overall, we see were impressed, and will book again with Sofitel. And room service was quick, good value and delightfully tasty."
