"My partner and I were initially only planning to stay here for the first part of our trip to Melbourne, but ended up staying the whole month. The proprietor (Lisa) and her team were very attentive to our needs and were easy to get ahold of if you needed anything. The in building laundry was great. Also loved the location. It was a short train tram ride into the CBD. Plenty of street parking in the area as well. Would definitely stay again!"
"I cannot recommend enough! The service was incredible- Lisa, the property manager, was so flexible and accommodating; she even switched out our laundry for us! We loved taking Truffles, her dog, out on walks and runs in the nearby off leash park. Location was amazing, right next to the tram. We were initially going to stay at a cheaper motel a few blocks away but I’m so glad we opted to stay here!"
"Everything is really nice! Really clean, located so close to the tram, and friendly staff. The neighbourhood is safe and quiet at night which is nice. We found it super easy to get anywhere quickly which was sweet. Also, the little kitchen had everything to make a nice breakfast or snack. Thanks so much to Lisa and the staff. Will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommended."
"First of all, We love this place! We stayed in Melbourne for almost a month due to my son heart surgery at RCH. Our plan was staying for 2 weeks only but the surgery got delayed and we had to stay longer. The room is clean, comfortable, and the location is superb. We love it and love it. The tram station just there, not much efforts needed. Woolworth is not far, and laundry mart too, oh amazing. And I tell you the most amazing thing staying in Melrose is to meet LISA.. We love her so much! Lisa is so amazing and lovely!! She is very helpful, and caring. She helped us so much, she even gave us rice and rice cooker because she knew I had to cook for me and my husband. She was very flexible to change or to extend our stays there. We love her! We wish more people stay in this apartment, and we wish all the best for Lisa too in many things xoxo."
"Loved it here! Loved that the rooms had floorboards, cleaner feel than carpet. Quiet location, but not too far from surrounding central Melbourne. Perfect room size and ensuite. Cute balcony as well. Even had fully equipped kitchen. Service was lovely, notified the owner that I was going to check in after hours and she accommodated perfectly. Very affordable, will definitely be returning."
