"Very accommodating staff and the hostel, room and toilets are clean. There's a pub downstairs. Recommended!"
"This has been the best hostel that I ever stay. Unfortunately due the house crises in Melbourne I have been stay in plenty of hostels and this hostel it’s definitely the best, very clean, peaceful and the ladies in the front desk are very friendly and basically the feeling to stay in this hostel it’s like you are at home again. I really recommend this hostel and hope will stay again. Best hostel in Melbourne ❤️"
"I had a great stay at this hostel. I arrived to check in around 8pm and told the young lady I have a tour booked at 8.30 near Flinders St Station. The check-in was done quickly and she told me she would place the linen in my room for me so I didn't have to carry it ( I didn't have time to go to the room). I received a text message when I got to the tour from the lady. It said she has made up my bed for me because she knows I will be coming back late! This is the best service I have ever received from any hostel in Australia. The room was spacious and airy. There were curtains and individual power points for each bed. The mattress was extremely comfortable. The air-con in the room made the temperature comfortable all night. The shower had strong water pressure and nice hot water. The location is great because there are two tram stops outside the door. They ask for a $50 refundable deposit initially and this was refunded in two days."
"A nice place to stay when arriving in Melbourne. Compared to other hostels, this one was really clean and due to it not being that big it is pretty quiet. The young lady working at the reception was super friendly and helpful. Things to be improved would be the TINY kitchen which everyone was a bit annoyed at since sometimes you would have to wait to just get in there. Also, regarding the fact that there is no space to hang dry clothes, a price of 5 dollars for using the dryer seems quite high. Apart from that, we really enjoyed our stay."
"The best hostel I stayed at in Melbourne, I didn't know what to expect when I booked here but was pleasantly surprised. Comfortable and very clean. The location is very nice too, right across the Queen Victoria Market with easy access to public transport. I thought it would be noisy due to the location and the bar under it but it wasn't a problem (my stay was on a weekend). The hostel is smaller than the others I stayed at in Melbourne so it is easier to talk to people. The common areas (kitchen, showers, toilets) are very small, but it was never a problem while I was there."
