"I would describe this bed and breakfast as very homely and cosy. We stayed for two nights. The whole place was very clean and included a continental breakfast. We really loved the gas fireplace! The house was very warm, cosy and comfortable. The bathroom was very nice, clean, with high quality classic finishes. Check in and out was very simple. Parking was available at the back."
"We had a lovely midweek, winter stay at Shelton-Lea. The hosts were warm, friendly and thoughtful. They turned the heating on for us before arrival and once again on another day when we were out. We came back to warm muffins another day. The room was spacious and comfortably furnished with traditional furniture. The spa was lovely and the kitchenette was well set-up. The continental breakfast provisions for each day was a lovely touch. The location is great, just a short walk down to Echo Point & the famous view of the 3 Sisters and Jamieson Valley. There are restaurants nearby. We would stay again and recommend this lovely place if you enjoy a more traditional B&B with limited self-catering options."
"This B&B is everything and more, if you're planning a trip to the mountains stay here, you will not be disappointed. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming! This was our 2nd time staying with them and we are already thinking about when we can get there again. The breakfast is cooked superb and sets you up for the day ahead also if you're staying for longer than a night you may find yourself coming back to fresh baked goods waiting for you. This place is absolute gem!"
"Stayed here for the long weekend and loved every moment of it. Great location, close to town for shopping and close to the Three Sisters and other walking tracks around. Such a cute and cosy little cottage with lots of little touches that makes you feel right at home. The spa bath is amazing, just what we needed after a day out walking and taking in the sights. Home made breakfast and afternoon tea was delicious! Paul and Jenny are wonderful hosts and we will definitely be coming back again!"
