Welcome to The Metropole Guest House, a charming establishment nestled in the heart of the Blue Mountains in Katoomba, Australia. With its rich history and old-world charm, our guesthouse offers a unique experience that will transport you back in time.

As you step into our beautifully appointed 1930s guesthouse, you'll be greeted by the character-filled library and the elegant dining room, both brimming with history and elegance. We take pride in preserving the heritage of our establishment while providing modern comforts for our guests.

We are excited to announce that our iconic Blue Mountains hotel is currently undergoing a well-deserved refurbishment on two levels and the front entrance. This includes the installation of a ramp for easier access. During this period, there may be some construction noise between 9am and 3pm from Monday to Saturday. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and we look forward to unveiling our newly refurbished guest rooms in March 2023.

With a total of 24 rooms, ranging from singles to family suites, The Metropole Guesthouse offers a variety of accommodations to suit your needs. Each room features stunning views of the mountain vistas, stained glass windows, and period furnishings, ensuring a truly unique stay.

We also have facilities for intimate weddings, accommodating 20 to 50 guests for sit-down dining or cocktail-style events. Celebrate special calendar events such as Yulefest and Christmas with us, as our dining room serves a full breakfast daily.
