"Lovely peaceful place to visit for a pleasant walk round lake take some bread for the ducks sadly because of the recent dry weather the lake is dry in places"
"Lovely place for a walk. Maintenance of the area is not as good as it used to be. The water level was extremely low."
"This is one of my favorite places to ramble. I visit as often as possible. Around the lake is 1km but you can lengthen you walk by rambling down through the woods. It's a fantastic spot for wildlife and it's not uncommon to see squirrels, foxes and all sorts of bird life. Be sure to bring a camera."
"great local amenity. ample parking. lots of ducks to feed. walkways aren't as well maintained as previous years be difficult if you had a buggy or were a wheel chair user very muddy in places and weeds over growing pathway. lovely bridle ways made out for horse riding ( by permit only ) .Have spotted 2 terrapins swimming around too ."
