"Had our dinner here , on impulse , while driving past. We will most certainly be back. The lovely chap serving us was super. Checking regularly that we had everything. Gave more colouring pages to the kids while we were waiting for our food. The food was delicious. I really enjoyed it and plenty of it. The place is spotless. Was really pressed"

"This is a 3* listed hotel with 5* prices. Can't get my head around them putting us out of the bar at 9.30 pm but served alcohol till 11 pm on Sunday, in fact every night we were put to the Foyer from the bar but still served till closing time wierd. The Staff were great, the rooms were great but sadly I can only give it a general 3* review."

"Stayed here for 2 nights whilst attending a wedding in the Dromoland castle up the road (Room 229). Hotel reception and bar were modern however our room was absolutely filthy with stains in the carpet and up along the curtains. When complaint left with reception, they simply ignored us until we checked out and only offered an apology at this stage. Walls were also very thin so would not advise coming here if you are expecting a full night sleep! Will not be back to this hotel and would not recommend this hotel at all."

"Just had a short stay. All the facilities you need, perfectly clean and great food. Best part of all were the waiting staff. Service was amazing. Great facilities for children. The swimming pool area could do with a facelift along with the odd carpet but only minor in grand scheme."

"We booked a three night family break over kid term. It was excellent value ans included a 4 course meal one night, a voucher towards bar food and an in room pizza party as well as B&B. Food was v good across the board and they were so good for me as a coeliac. Staff are lovely, v clean hotel. Yes, some areas like the pool are dated but it's absolutely grand and excellent value for what you pay. My kids loved it here, especially the play inn and the pool. Great in particular for families with kids under 10."
