"What a fantastic experience! This hotel is top notch! Great location; about a 10 minute taxi ride to Galway & brilliant service. There are so many activities to do on the property, you don't even have to leave. We would HIGHLY recommend the falconing experience. Jason was great! The cycling around the golf course was beautiful. The building itself is so charming, with modern rooms. Next time we come to Ireland, we would make a special trip back to the Glenlo."
"We attended afternoon tea at Glenlo Abbey yesterday as a treat for Christmas and it didn't disappoint. From the moment we arrived the views were breath taking and the staff were so friendly and welcoming, especially the doorman and our server. Food and cocktails were delicious, which we followed with a relaxing walk around the grounds. A wonderful afternoon spent in beautiful surroundings."
"We had a lovely stay at the Glenlo Abbey which presented a perfect combination of historic 17th century structure and modern, luxurious accommodations. Our room was extremely large and comfortable, with a very lovely bathroom - note furnishings are traditional, which is part of the charm. The staff was very friendly and helpful (with the slight exception at breakfast where they could have been a bit nicer). High tea, bars and breakfast were all super beautiful. The hotel is a short drive to downtown Galway and served as a good base to explore the area. We would love to stay here again."
